Distinctive natural sites, especially water front areas inside cities are attractive to tourism activities the river bank Al-Diwaniya city is suffer lack in green areas, both in quantity and distribution the green area barely reaches 98CM2 per person.

The problem can be solved away tourism development on banks of the river Diwaniya, this research is seckinga solution for this problem by suggesting strategies for increasing green areas of the bank of the Diwaniya river.
