Abstract EN

This research aims at investigating the role of small and medium enterprises in solving unemployment and poverty problems in Jordan, covering these issues from the perspective of the role of Islamic financial institutions, forms and grants.

By supporting those enterprises, their projects, and spreading their initiatives, granting them financing, and offering them and guidance.

Financing is in focus in this context, as financing barriers remain the main obstacle facing these enterprises.

Relying on financial data of small and medium enterprises, and on the data of unemployment in Jordan, the researcher concluded that small and medium enterprises are capable of presenting effective solutions in confronting poverty and unemployment in Jordan
