Journeys played an important role in the scientific and cultural life of scholars of Western Sudan, through which the sciences and cultures of other peoples were recognized, whether they were oriental, such as Egypt, the land of the Two Holy Mosques, Moroccan Kfas, Marrakech, and Tlemcen.

The pilgrimage was one of the most important religious journeys, Social, political and economic ties, not to mention the cultural and scientific aspects.

In order to dive into the folds of this subject pilgrimage journey must be defined as well as its roles.

We focus on the most authentic journeys and their impact at the internal and external levels.
