This study provides an attempt to assess the situation of competitive Algerian economy during the period (2000-2014), through the study of global competitiveness index of the World Economic Forum annually, and it has become clear to us that Algeria has achieved positive results in indicators of macroeconomic balance, but balance based on the rents varied fuel instead of production.
