Abstract EN

As a result of the sharp collapse in energy prices, it has become imperative for the rentier states ,pursue economic diversification policy to address imbalances in economic and institutional structures, resulting from the adopted by the sole source of income.

For this many countries have sought to apply the economic diversification strategy and make it a success through the adoption a set of economic policies ،in order to restructure the economy and raise the level of the contribution of alternative economic sectors in the gross domestic product and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these sectors.

In order to achieve the policy of economic diversification of the United Arab Emirates, the State has supported investment programs in all sectors, including the insurance sector became the leader in this field at the level of all the Arab countries and become a competitor to major international companies, and this through the provision of appropriate and encouraging environment for the exercise of its activity, and as a result of a review of the overall state of the system of laws and legislation to this sector, and its operational procedures according to international best practices .
