Abstract EN

Customs administration of Algeria plays an important and essential role in achieving all sustainable development objectives.

Through simplifying customs procedures and increasing the quality of customs service provided to economic agents and individuals as well as protecting the environment.

This initiative is supported by the adoption the Strategic Plan of Algerian Customs 2016-2019.

Which embodies the modernization project of customs administration commensurate with keeping up with the Algerian’s customs administration of the developments taking place at the global level in all fields.

The Algerian Customs Department is also implementing the environmental agreements signed by the Algerian government, and to confront various forms of breach of these conventions.

Multilateral environmental agreements are clear evidence of the commitment of the global community to sustainable development and environmental protection
