The innovation current has been a framework in several areas of research, especially in the social sciences.
This paper aims to make a link between the innovation framework and our field of study, namely, the application of a new accounting framework by Algerian companies.
More specifically, it attempts to describe this accounting system as a “managerial” and / or “accountant” innovation.
Our qualitative study, based on two case studies, allows us to provide some answers.

Le courant d’innovation a constitué un cadre de référence dans plusieurs domaines de recherche et plus particulièrement, dans les sciences sociales.
Le présent article vise à rapprocher le cadre d’innovation de notre champ d’étude, à savoir, l’application d’un nouveau référentiel comptable au sein des entreprises algériennes.
Plus précisément, il tente de qualifier le Système Comptable Financier (SCF) d’innovation de type « managérial » et/ou « comptable ».
Notre étude qualitative, fondée sur deux études de cas, permet d’apporter des éléments des réponses à l’objet en présence.
