This research concerns the writings of Abu al-Qasim Saad Allah on the subject of Fatwa and muftis in Algeria during the Ottoman era.

The Hanafi school was the official doctrine, but the Maliki school followed by the Algerians was not ignored.

In his writings Saad Allah relied on the book of the Algerian Ahmed Ben Ammar, who lived in the 18th century.

Ones of the major muftis highlighted by Saad Allah was El Annabi and the family of Alfakon
