Abstract EN

Purpose: The aim of the study was to explore the application of blue ocean strategy in banking institutions in M'sila.

Methodology: Given the objectives the study sought to achieve, descriptive survey is best suited for the study; Primary data was collected using questionnaires.

The questionnaires were administered by the researcher to the Cadres banking institutions.

Since most of the data collected in this study were quantitative, the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics (Percentages, mean, and standard deviation).

Findings: The study found that the factors that should be reduced well below the banking industry’s standard were internal risk, time taken on queue.

The study also found that a number of factors were taken for granted by the banking industry and should be eliminated and included costly activities.

It was also found that the factors which the respondents felt that needed to be raise above the banking industry’s standard were gain more operating efficiencies, the quality, and Secrecy in dealings with customers.

The results also showed that the factors which should be created in the banking industry which have not been offered before included new products with requirements of digitization.
