Rythm is part of the features that set a poem apart from other forms of writing.

It is the metrical flow of sound determined by the placement of stressed and unstressed syllables in a line of verse.

Thus rhythm comprises several linguistic patterns ranging from sound and structural devices to semantic ones.

In this sense rhythm cannot be achieved away from another important poetic and sound device which is meter, as both of them go in parallel and form a symmetric relationship.

The mutual articulation between sound and meter gives rhythm its legitimate and poetic impact and adds a profound and enjoyable experience
