Abstract EN

the present study aims at finding an answer to the following concern: To what extent can the cognitive behavioural therapy be of a help with getting the child to recover from the symptoms of stuttering? we have followed a clinical approach that relies basically on case studies; (studying the state along with observation),to our account this therapetic method happens to be the most appropriate one.

Our sample consisted of three cases in which we made use of inteviews,timelines as well as files and voice records.

afer having applied the cognitive behavioral therapy,and through a thorough analysis to its results on the light of assumptions in addition to the findings of the previous studies,we noticed a clear improvement in terms of the course of speech.i,e.a clear enhance in verbal fluency contary o the sum of extensions,disrupts and duplicates which decreased comapred to the numbers registered prior to the treatment.

this is, in fact, due to enabling cases to control feelings of anxiety, tension and fear, and this is, in turn, an indicator of the abily to control one's emotions.this is the result of altering the previous misconceptions and negative attitudes persistent in situations of connectivity and communication.

stemming from the foregoing we can conclude that cognitive behavioral treatment is highly effective for children when it comes to overcoming stuttering sypmtoms.
