With a framework of an economy based on knowledge, the economic intelligence became for the company a main source to obtain a competitive permanent characteristic.
Today, companies face the problem of how to adapt and to interact with its environment that changes in a continuous way.
This situation obliged companies to built strategies which allow them to face the threats of this environnement, and to maintain their position and evolution.
The economic intelligence appears in this situation as an ideal solution to these threats, and companies must apply it through improving their human resources.
This paper aims at lighting the new role of the human resources management within the orientation to the economy of knowledge.
Thus, it becomes important to put the light on the mutual relationship between the economic intelligence and the human resources management through the understanding of the function of this latter in the context of the economic intelligence.
