This study aims at investigating “ rain” in the ballad of “rain” anshudat al- matter by Bader Shaker Assayyab analytically and ecologically on the basis of the integrative and comprehensive approach benefiting from the interpretative approach.

The study also purports at approximating reality as intended by the poet.

The study concludes with unprecedented results and implications.
