Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the social and psychological characteristics of suicide attempters during the period 2000-2013, it employed the data and records that were available in CTSP, the results have helped in identifying that 917 patients had attempted suicide in their lives, that the most risked population was of youngersters between15-24, that the females were represented by 77%, that about 10.25% had high level school, that 64% didn’t work, and that 76% were not married, the most current method of attempted suicide was IMV, 20% suffered from anxious troubles, 67% declared that conflicts were the most important causes.
