Abstract EN
The historic core of Annaba is a medina distinguished by a double advanced deterioration.
Its built framework threatens to be ruined; its identical referents slip out.
Beyond this stigmatization, carried extremely, this historic core constituted, as everywhere else, the privileged support of construction of collective memories.
The present article aims to put the light on places and identical referents which were able to resist the weight of time.
It is also, to attract the attention on their mobilization to rehabilitate the urban image of this medina and to restore its identity.

Le noyau historique d’Annaba est une médina qui se singularise par une double détérioration.
Son cadre bâti menace ruine, ses référents identitaires s’éclipsent.
Au-delà de cette détérioration, ce noyau historique a constitué le support privilégié de construction de mémoires collectives.
Le présent article a pour objectif de mettre la lumière sur les lieux et les référents identitaires menacés ainsi que d’attirer l’attention sur leur mobilisation pour réhabiliter l’image urbaine de cette médina pour lui restituer son identité.
