Abstract EN

The main purpose of the study is to elaborate on the details of Hamraa Al-Asad Foray as such details were neglected by the previous studies.

The study consists of an introduction, five chapters, and a conclusion.

The introduction included the importance of the topic, research plan and approach.

Chapter one deah with the battle site, in three sections; discussing old scholars' statements about Hamraa Al-Asad area being south of the city of Al-Madinah, and how they differ about its distance fi-om Al-Madinah.

It also included the sayings of later scholars and the local people in the region who also fail to agree on the distance between it and Al-Madinah.

After presenting and investigating old and modem sayings about Hamraa Al-Asad area, five different opinions about the location were detected, despite their agreement that the site is located south of the Al-Madinah.

They differed in determining the location: some described it as a spacious land; others described it as being a tight Mount, and so on.

In the second chapter: the researcher mentioned the reason and the date of the foray, in two sections.

In the first section, he mentioned the reason for the foray, and the related narrations, in addition to what was mentioned in the two sound books of Hadeeth, what was mentioned by Ibn Ishaq and advocates, what Ibn al-Zubayr and Musa bin Uqbah had chosen of the reasons for the foray, and so on.

In the second section, the researcher talked about the date of the foray, where historians unanimously agreed that it was on the next day of Uhud Battle, but with two different views about its dates.

The third chapter contains three sections about the situation of the Muslims before the foray, and the speed of their response to the Prophet's command to go out with him to Hamraa Al-Asad, and the Hadeeths and news that were mentioned in this regard.

It also includes the dispute about the number of the companions (May Allah be pleased with them) who were in the foray, and the different narrations in this regard, as well as the ways of combining such narrations Besides, it mentioned the companions who witnessed the foray from among those who were in the battle of Uhud according to the sources.

In Chapter Four, five sections dealt with several topics, including: The information mentioned about MaTsad Alkhozai's discouragement of the heathens, the hostile nerve propaganda from heathens against Muslims, the positive attitude of the Prophet towards the hostile nerve propaganda of the idol worshipers, and the sources for such a context.

A1 Waaqidi and his student were the only sources who described the rest of the events of the foray, and the details.

Then the real results of the foray that were not produced as the confrontation between Muslims and idol worshipers had not happened.

The fifth chapter presents the verses revealed in the foray and their interpretation.

It includes four sections which all include some of the Quran verses with a statement of their contents on the conditions of Muslims and their response to Allah and His Messenger and the strength of their faith.

Then in the conclusion, the researcher sums up the historians narrations about the foray of Hamraa Al-Assad as well as the reasons for such a foray.
