Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the impact of economic reform on political reform in Jordan from three aspects: a systematic framework for the study, building a theoretical scale to measure the relationship between economic and political reform by using intermediate variables, and the application of the scale on the Jordanian experience.

The study results indicated that the impact of economic reform on the political reform has been limited and moderate.

Jordan has partial or restricted democracy, suffering from governmental and parliamentary instability, weak political participation, the spread of corruption and a weak and ineffective government.

The findings of the study showed the loss of political will to achieve the desired reform and the absence of economic vision for better management of the state
