Abstract EN

This study aimed at determining the level of collective solidarity and its relationship with the volleyball player's ambition level in Jordan, in addition to determining the collective solidarity differences and the ambition level according to the playing experience level, the player's position, and the player's social status.

The sample was composed of (67) players of the Premier League season 2013.

A collection of scales was used, they were: (Carron, etal.1985) team's collective solidarity scale, and (Mo'uad and Abed al Athim, 2005) ambition level scale.

The study concluded that the total collective solidarity level of volleyball players in Jordan was high, where the response percentage was (70.20%).

And the results showed the presence of statistically significant differences between the collective solidarity and the ambition level.

The study recommended (in the light of the previous results) that it's important for coaches to take collective solidarity into consideration when sports teams are prepared and trained
