Abstract EN

This research examines the impact of the public expending policy on unemployment in Algeria during the period 1990-2015, which has been based on the analysis of the series time for study variables and provide the appropriate econometric modelling of the economic relationship between public spending and unemployment rate in Algeria, Through the use of the econometric analytical approach, and through three axes, the short-and long-term co-integration relationships during this period in this research, we have achieved several outcomes, the most important of which is a causal relationship between public spending and unemployment, as well as a cointegration relation between public spending and unemployment rate in Algeria but is circumstantial, which requires the activation of other economic policies in the creation of jobs other than fiscal policy and the activation of domestic and foreign investment mechanisms with new developments in the world economy.
