Abstract EN

This study aims at defining the content of the right to environment, and determining the holders of this right and its nature.

We concluded that the object of this right has two significations: A restricted signification consisting of the natural environment, and a large signification including besides the previous components the industrial environment.

We also concluded that we should adopt the restricted signification, by adding animals, plants and environmental diversity.

Furthermore, it would be necessary to try to divide this right in a number of independent rights, such as the right to water, the right to air…etc.

This study also found that Man should be the axis of the right to environment, and that this right should be individual in order to give it better protection, this right should be is exercised jointly.
