Abstract EN

This study aims to detect cognitive function and methodology of civilization model in the study of human phenomena according to Malik bin Nabi, who believed that the religious idea is the primary source of civilization model, which consists of three phases, all representing the psychological characteristics of a person, these three phases are the process of the mind, spirit and instinct, this model is underway a number of transformations of all human civilizations.

We dealt in this study also with the question of how did Malik bin Nabi use civilization model in the interpretation and analysis of human phenomena, we reached the result that the construction of cognitive models in the study of human phenomena, these inherent practices in the works of the sociologist Max Weber, can contribute to the solution of the epistemological crisis plaguing the social sciences in the Arab world.
