Post disaster poetry shows a clear decline in modern Arabic poetry and at the same time a declaration of the birth of contemporary Arabic poetry.

That birth can be consideredas a point of reboundof the Arabic poetry that has experienced change not only in substance but also on form.The change that affected the content and form reflects emigration as it is part of the lives of poets who found themselves in a world of depleted amoral values where life became harder and complex, making humanlove relationshipsdisappear and demeaning circumstances of the society.
