The following piece of work is the elaboration of a summary of the works that took place in the context of the sociolinguistic studies in Algeria.
These studies are realized by the colonizers who had been living side by side with the Algerian population for more than a century and a half.
It is a piece of interdisciplinary research from which a synthetic work of a particular character is present in this paper.

Le travail qui suit est l’élaboration d’une lecture sommative des travaux qui ont eu lieu dans le cadre des études sociolinguistiques en Algérie par les colons qui ont côtoyé la population algérienne pendant plus d’un siècle et demi.
C’est une recherche interdisciplinaire d’où le caractère particulier du travail de synthèse ici présenté.
