Financial engineering emergence has given rise to many and varied innovations.

These innovations formed the first nucleus upon which Islamic banking scholars and experts relied on the elimination of traditional riba-based financial products and replacing them with Shari'ah-compliant products.

These products are accepted by individuals and society alike due to their economic efficiency and legitimate credibility.Islamic financial engineering offers many advantages from that Islamic financial institutions can benefit, and the Sukuk issuance is one of the secretions of the Islamic financial engineering, where it proved its effectiveness and successful in many Islamic countries like Malaysia, Pakistan and Sudan.

However, accelerating economic events and financial fluctuations which was accompanied by global financial crises has made experts and jurists of Islamic banking in defiance and permanent research in order to keep pace with these changes and satisfy customers' needs without exceeding the legitimate lines on which financial and banking work is based on.

Indeed, Islamic Financial Industry showed efficiency in crisis response and challenge.

From here our objective was to looking on the role of Islamic financial engineering in the Islamic financial industry development.
