Abstract EN

The objective of this article is to know the different solutions that Algeria has taken to face the oil shock 2014, and for this we followed the analytical approach, this article deals the following points: the evolution of oil prices in (January 2014-February 2016), Causing factors, the impact of the fall in prices on the Algerian economy and the most important mechanisms to reduce dependence on the hydrocarbons sector.

Among the results achieved, the collapse of prices had a profound impact on the various economic balances which have proved the fragility of the national economy and to solve this problem, it is necessary to move toward a diversified economy
