Abstract EN

This study examined the behavioral objectives written by the first three grade teachers in their lesson plan preparation notebooks.

It also investigated the influencing factors of these behavioral objectives, choice as experienced by teachers in Irbid governorate school system.

The study used a qualitative research methodology where check list and open-ended questions were employed.

The results of the study revealed that the cognitive domain has got the highest percentage in all outcome learning domains, more than affective or psychomotor domains.

The results also showed statistically significant difference as a result of gender, in favor of female teachers.

The study concluded that there is a need to prepare and train teachers on sound educational preparation to write lesson plans that include not only cognitive domain behavioral objectives, but to also focus on affective and psychomotor domains.

The study recommends further research to be conducted on lesson preparation with the focus on affective and psychomotor domains according to the textbooks and school situation.
