Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to study the reality of the adoption of Algerian economic institutions and their practice of social responsibility and their several dimensions.

The theoretical concepts related to this subject were addressed to define the concept of social responsibility which urges the institution to take into account social concerns and environmental issues of different interests when carrying out their economic activities.

The practical study of the cement company in the wall of the deer as a sample of the Algerian economic institutions showed the failure to adopt social responsibility in all their dimensions, and this despite the economic stability and profits achieved as active in a sector characterized by growth and activity.

This requires thinking of alternative strategies prioritizing social responsibility
