دراسة العلاقة بين الانفتاح التجاري و النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر للفترة 1980-2014

Abstract EN

Foreign trade plays an important role in the international economy, through the encouragement of the different countries for their exports, which are interpret into more and more foreign exchange receipts, and also the inflow of new foreign capitals.

We know that the new foreign capitals are a necessary factor to increase the volume of investments, which contribute to the construction and establishment of basic infrastructure in all sectors in order to arrive at the consolidation of the economic development of these countries.

This scientific paper attempts to study the relationship between trade openness and economic growth in Algeria, using the opening index, which is an exogenous variable in our model, which calculates as follows: (Export + import ) / GDP, also we’ll uses the variable "economic growth" as an endogenous variable, in order to estimate the model, and to study the causality between the two variables.

We note that this study is based on the annual data of Algeria made by the department of the World Bank.
