Abstract EN

The study aimed at the diagnosis of the Jordanian social work sector in terms of evaluation and intervention in accordance with its qualitative research method srepresented in system analysis, content analysis, observation and comparison.

The overall findings of the study are as follows: the Jordanian social work sector faces tremendous challenges attributed to many legislations, multiple institutions , nonprofessionalization of the employees ,the absence of limiting the targeted categories,the fragmentation of its strategies, its humble financial potential, the non-accreditation of its institutions, the inability to control its services quality, the weakness of its effectiveness and efficiency and its develop ability under a package of legislative, administrative, political and educational interventions.
