Abstract EN

This study investigates how the Noble Qur’an elegantly differentiates between the words ‘khilaf’ (dispute, disagreement) and ‘ikhtilaf’(difference, variance).

The study highlighted the denotations and connotations of these two concepts through examining the Qur’anic verses in which they occur.

Furthermore, the study explained the types of these concepts, the differences between them, the causes of their occurrence, the constraints of using them and the manners that scholars should enjoy in such cases.
