Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of quality of life in al-Balqa Applied University students as well as to determine the differences in the level of newness of life depending on the variables (sex, specialty, physical activity).

The study sample consisted of (120) player students from the first year, (54) male and (65) female, quality of life scale were applied to them.

The researcher used in the completion of this study the quality of life scale that contains 40 items and the descriptive survey manner for study purposes.

Data was treated using analysis of variance in one direction, the arithmetic means, the standard deviation, and Cronbach's alpha.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher reached that the quality of life of university students came highly for practitioners of physical activity of both scientific and literary colleges, and both sexes, but for the non-practicing, quality of life showed a low level.

The researcher recommended highlighting the importance of the quality of life for non-athletes to encourage them to practice sports activities to its importance for the construction of individuals physically, socially, morally and psychologically.
