Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to explore the role of knowledge management in improving library services in university faculties.

This research dealt with a sample of people working in university libraries of different faculties.

A questionnaire has been prepared to serve this study and its results were analysed with various statistical methods.

The description and analysis of the collected data aims at examining the research hypothesis by affirming or denying the relationship between the independent variable (knowledge acquisition, knowledge demand, knowledge technology) and the dependent variable related to the library services.

The findings show that there is a close relationship between knowledge management and the library services at the University of Mostaganem with a correlation coefficient of R = 0.93
