Abstract EN

This study investigates the effect of using the short story in teaching art ((Drawing )) and its impact on the middle school / studentsof first stage.

It is also looking for knowing the methods of teaching this type of art for those groups.

Results: This study produced significant statistics results that there is gap in the post-testing of the imagination students through their artistic expression under the impact the target story.

The results came for the benefit of the testing group on the level 0.05 in the T-test .

The statistical results of the first hypothesis showed difference between the pre and post-test.

Therefore the average of pre-test was 30.54, while the same group in the post-test was 35.21 with growing about 5.33.

Consequently, this result rejects the aught assumption, which indicate " There are no difference statistics connotation on the level 0.05 between the average students' scores of the pre and post-test in the T-test " .

According to the goals of this study, the researcher produced the following advices :- 1.

Consider the art study in teaching process and connect it with other topics.

2.

Establish training courses for art teachers in the institutions ofthe Ministry of Education to elaborate their formal Arabic language and avoid using dialect in teaching their students.

3.

Use the present research as a reference for the training course of the middle school teachers in the Ministry of Education.

4.

Interest in making training course for students whose graduated from colleges are producing art middle school teachers about the methods of preparing and writing as well as producing similar program of the present research .

Suggestions of the Researcher: 1.

The impact of short story on the imagination development of the students for the primary and secondary stages.

2.

A comparative study to clarify the imagination development of the artistic expression between the urban and rural environmental for students who are in primary and secondary stages
