The purpose of research is to find out Othertdras first chapters of mathematical logic and the second from the real numbers of the math book for students of the fourth grade scientific manner guided discovery on academic achievement compared to their traditional way of teaching followed in the teaching of mathematics and the survival after learning they have.

Society Current search of the (3096) students composed, while formed specify (70) students from fourth grade science students evenly divided into two groups, the first experimental group consisted of 35 students, were taught in a manner guided discovery, and the second control group consisted of (35) students were taught the course content itself the usual conventional way.

Researcher experimental design called the adopted (curriculum equal groups) where verification of equality of the two groups, and adjust some of the variables that are related to variables such as research and chronological age in months, and intelligence (IQ), the former and achievement in mathematics.

The researcher has prepared two tests, the first test of achievement for the first two mathematical logic, and the second chapter of real numbers, while the second test is to measure the survival of the impact of learning, and after it was applied to the research sample revealed find a statistically significant difference at the level of results (0.05) among the middle grades two students in the achievement test, as well as the survival of the impact of learning, but by a narrow margin in favor of the experimental group that studied the students in a manner guided discovery, and suggested the researcher further research and studies dealing with the impact of teaching and other scientific topics in mathematics in a way guided discovery on student achievemen
