Abstract EN

The study aimed at investigating the level of social skills amongst students with and without learning disabilities LD; and whether it differs according to variables of gender; age or their intrection.

For the pupose of data collection; the study employed a modified version of social skills scale for children with LD which was developed by Haroun (2005).

The results of the study indicated a moderate level of social skills, with higher means for children without LD on the total scale and its dimensions.

Additionally, female children without LD had the highest level of social skills amongst the participating children, particularly in the skills of appropriate work habits and following school rules.
