knowledge about contemporary Arabic criticism of the cultural crticism theory is tightly related to the Saoudi critic Abdellah El -Gudhami through his seminal book entitled 'Cultural Criticism: A Reading into Arabic Cultural Patterns', published in 2000.

Hence, our study will attempt to get closer from this book in order to question it critically and put it under scrutiny by dint of criticism and analysis.

Also, the study will discuss the extent to which this book epitomizes the western views about cultural criticism theory
