Abstract EN

The study aims to study the unified catalog of Damascus university libraries available online through studying the interfaces of the catalog and evaluating it to determine its abilities and how it achieves the standards.

The study displays the most important interfaces of the catalog and the advantages offered by searching and the possibilities in the catalog, then the study evaluates the catalog through standards of automated catalogs.

The researcher used case study approach depending on a check list to evaluate the system, the list contained 40 standards divided into five parts and showed how many implemented standards for each part.
