Abstract EN

The regional system in the Arab world has passed through changes with the beginning of the new millennium, these changes might threaten its continuity or redesign it according to the new variables effecting it .The collapse of the pivotal powers caused power vacuum pushed powers outside the regional system to take part in the inner system ,besides there are small states inside the regional system tried to play rolls bigger than their real size like Qatar.

All these variables have their impact on Iraq which has seen power rivalry among regional and international powers which we will try to shed light on it through analytical approach.
