Abstract EN

The study dealt with the impact of the use of information technology on promotion of job satisfaction in Sudanese banks.

The study aimed at recognizing the usage level of information technology; besides exploring the impact of demographic features in the relationship between information technology and job satisfaction.

The study adopted the descriptive analytical method; besides using statistical packages; and descriptive and analytical techniques.

The study main results show that database plays an important role in Sudanese banks when deciding on the type of information technology, which will be used.

Moreover, the results indicated the existence of a positive relationship between database and job satisfaction; as well as the existence of a positive relationship between hardware and organizational commitment.
