Abstract EN

This research addressed the topic of domestic violence through a systematic critique of studies and research presented in Arab Conference for domestic violence, which was held in Khartoum in 2012.

The significance of the study stemmed from the lack of critical studies in this area.

Key Inquires have been put forward on methodological problems encountered in these studies and research and then aimed to provide a critique vision to the methodology, approaches, and objectives of these studies and research, as well as, trying to provide frameworks of knowledge and proper methodologies for further studies tackling the problem of domestic violence.

The main objective of this study is to provide a critical re view of the methodology of the scientific papers presented in the conference, as well as, provide framework of knowledge to the issue of domestic violence in the Arab community.

It was found that there were poor use of scientific research methods in the study of the problem, resulting in poor results and recommendations.

It was recommended that there should be a research methodology based on Islamic approach to tackle such studies or researches without neglecting the classical scientific research methods
