Linguistics had marked a significant presence in many fields.

Its investment and collaboration with other sciences contributed in solving problems that are related to “language“.

Especially with one of its branches that has been termed “Applied linguistics “which dealt with lots of lingual dimension's issues.

In this research paper and from a linguistic approach we are going to discuss a delicate and controversial topic which is “ Autism “ ,which is quiet popular among young children , we will focus on its impact on children’s cognition , especially its major side effects on the communicative aspect , moreover to its various problems on psychological, physical, educational and social levels.

Through this study we’re seeking to achieve a set of goals, most importantly to incomer the relation between Autism – which occupies a huge area in psychological studies - with linguistics as a discipline rich of linguistic principals that can be invested in the diagnosing and the therapy of autism
