Abstract EN

This research is an editing of A'quud al-Jawãhir book by Ahmad Ibn Mahmoud Ibn Omar al- Jendi (died 700H).

This work is divided into two parts.

The first one concerns with identifying the author life (i.e.

his: name lineage, date of birth, upbringing, scientific role, scholars, students, death etc).

Moreover, this part verifies the book's title and its proportion to the author.

Also, this part clarifies the author's methodology in his book, and the methodology of editing work as well.

Finally, the first part is concluded with describing the manuscript copies.

With respect to the second part, it is about the editing text and it has been divided into 15 chapters.

(1) on an introduction about Morphology, (2) on the structures of nouns, (3) on the structures of verbs, (4) on making the final morpheme of past and present verb sakin 5) ساكن) on the reasons behind deleting mada مدة from the Weak Verb, (6) on the Rules of Nunat 7) نونات on Imperative Verb, (8) on al-Hmaza الهمزة Jl Rules, (9) on al-Hmaza Rules in writing system, (10) on Deletion and Replacement, (11) on the replacement of taa’ al-eftia’al 12) تاء الافتعال on MaSadir shapes, (13) on both Subject and Object nouns, (14) on Comparative & Superlative noun, (15) on al-Mafa'l المفعل In every chapters, al-Jendi writes poems about morphology filled with many significant benefits and followed by an explanation to remove any ambiguity.

Finally, the editor concludes the book with various Indexes of verses, poetry, reference and contents.
