Abstract EN

The presence of the femal has prevailed in the past as well as in recent Arabic literature, a large number of studies dealt with this side.

Yet, still the mention of the wife's presences remains very rare, particularly in Saudi literature.

The present study has fuscoud on the inspiration of the wife in poetry, namely the Saudi poet Ahmed Salem Ba'otob (1431H-1355H).

Where she had appeared in his poetry in many forms.

For instance, love, jealousy and demands …, etc.

However, the aim of it all was to deal with important social problems.

For example, the rise in the cost of dowries, polygamy, the rights of the spouses, rising children and many more.

In addition, this study did not neglect the technical side of this inspiration.

For it has monitored the important artistic phenomena, such as, resorting to poetic storytelling, the emergence of pictorial introductions, to fruition the unit of the poem, the presence of wisdom, the dialectic and the logical dialogue.
