Abstract EN

This paper aims to study the image of praised in the poetry of Ibn Darraj Al-Qostoli.

Firstly, it includes a concise presentation of the subject of this study, and so, It presents the linguistic and the terminological definition of the praise over all his chronological existence except in Andalusia.

After that, it stands beyond the life of Ibn Darraj and his time and cultures, and even his praised poems.

Finally, It shows the most important images of praise’s purposes, such as bravery and generosity of the kings and princes of the two families; Ameria and Tajiebit in the end of fourth century and the beginning of the fifth one.
