The paper aims to identify the current educational status of the geography and environmental studies Curriculum in Sudan..
Secondary schools, Methodology adopted is the descriptive approach Main findings are that the geography and environmental studies Curriculum lacks most of the general characteristics of the educational objectives, the content of the curriculum suffered weaknesses in applying the standards of selection and organization also teaching aids used are limited to the blackboard and the teaching method is also limited to lecturing v^ith little students activities, and the main type of examination used to evaluate the students achievement is the objective lest Recommendations include the importance of the continuous revision and development of the curriculum taking into account the standards of achieving the educational objectives by applying the criteria for selecting and organizing content also teacher training should be given more attention specially training to use the latest developments in teaching aids and teaching methods and evaluation methods.
