In his essay entitled “The Centrality of the Western Ego and the Birth of Fundamentals”, the Algerian researcher Nasr Al-Din Bin Saray discusses an important aspect in the debate on Western centrality in the Imperialist Era during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
The writer deals with the French philosopher Roger Garaudy’s approach to Western fundamentalism and its facets and rhetoric concerning the Arabian and Islamic other.

Il traite une partie essentielle du débat sur l'Occidentalo-centrisme pendant l'époque coloniale au XIXè et XXè siècles.
Le chercheur explique comment le philosophe français Roger GARAUDY a approché la question de l'intégrisme occidental, ses manifestations et son discours vis-à-vis de l'Autre arabe et musulman.
