Abstract EN
ISIS is considered one of the pioneering terroristic organizations in terms of the use of the Electronic cyber and in relying on digital social media since it provides massive openness on the world, they are available and easy to use and extremely quick as far as reaching the target is concerned.
The importance of digital space in the terroristic organization is translated in its ownership of large number of media institutions, different social media and using all of these means to commercialize and advertise its products ( oral speeches, songs, pictures, books, video clips …etc).
The use of social media in the terroristic strategy of ISIS appears in the propa ganda, psychological war, recruiting fighters, organizing its attacks and other functions to prove its existence in the international scene.
All of this highlights the importance of modern technology and the role that it plays in wars, not just a complementary strategy but it is as crucial as the battlefield itself.
