One of the most important of such patterns is medical tourism, which represent a pattern distinct from the traditional patterns of tourism.

It is also distinguished with its profitability and potential to increase the national income.

Such a pattern of tourism is particularly significant the developed countries because of the importance of its economic features.

Man travelled for the purpose of hospitalization for a long time.

Because of the importance represented by the tourism industry , especially medical tourism in the system of the national economy of the country , it must increase the competitiveness of the tourism industry at the global level and also increase the contributions of the tourism sector in advancing economic development.

This could be achieved by attracting larger numbers of tourists coming to the tourist destination of Egypt searching for diversify of the tourism product.

This may make a considerable the expansion in the form of hotel rooms, which accommodate the target numbers of tourists.
