Algerian legislator is interested in promoting the status of women and maximizing their political rights, and increased opportunities of her for political representation and to win executive and legislative positions, that many Legal provisions have been imposed representation of women in councils and electoral lists ; especially after 1989 and through successive constitutional amendments, also strengthening its presence in the decision-making system.
Organic Law No.
12/03 represents a significant contribution to this aspect and an important asset in promoting women's political rights, and a framework to gain a number of gains that aspire to embody from the political class in Algeria

Le législateur algérien s'intéresse à la promotion du statut des femmes et à la maximisation de leurs droits politiques, et augmenter les possibilités accrues d'elle pour la représentation politique et pour gagner des positions exécutives et législatives, que de nombreuses dispositions légales ont été imposées à la représentation des femmes dans les conseils et les listes électorales; surtout après 1989 et à travers des amendements constitutionnels successifs, renforçant également sa présence dans le système de décision.
La loi organique n ° 12/03 représente une contribution significative à cet aspect et un atout important dans la promotion des droits politiques des femmes et un cadre pour obtenir un certain nombre de gains qui aspirent à incarner de la classe politique en Algérie.
