This study deals with a central issue relating to the the binary opposition status in Wassine Al-A’raj’s Novel Jomlikeiyet Arabia.

This has entailed uncovering different intellectual concepts through different characters embodying double values.

This does not imply that the aesthetic and the ideological are disconnected; in fact, they are deeply interrelated.

The study is focused on pointing out first what can be called an individual behavior based on conceptual values at an abstract level.

The above is inseparable from aesthetic elements the novelist invokes to induce assumed functions that are inherently interlinked for provocation and impact.

Some of those elements are intended to please and produce aesthetic effect.

Accordingly, the research deals with the most important formal structure and tools utilized in the novel for the purpose.

This calls for debating the the narrative structure and textual aesthetics peculiar to the novel.

An emphasis will be placed on on the artistic style and the diverse messages it relays.

The different aspects tackled in the novel are related to each other.
